The Woman's Foundation of Nepal has empowered abused women through counselling, education, physical and emotional strengthening, training, micro-loans, skill development, and basic marketing know how to regain pride and confidence.

The women weavers receive a loan to purchase their looms and establish their businesses. Upon sale of their craft, the women receive 40% of the sale price and The Women's Foundation of Nepal receives 60% of the sale price which is invested in the training of more women.

There is a small but developing market for these unknown artisans and their products. There is little contact with the international community whose attention is, of course, required to develop a market for the products of these women.
