Office Volunteers [+]

The staff at The Women's Foundation is so busy helping women and shildren that they seldom have the time to take care of regular office chores.  SO, when a volunteer shows up who has the skills and is willing to work int he office, it is a godsend for the organization.  Many of the volunteers have thought they would be working with women in the shelter but found great rewards working int he office.  Contact with all staff members as women and children being served by WFN while helping the organization meet its office obligations, making contacts with all the people who want more information about WFN, as well as the occassional trip to the market with children, and the bonus - a birth at the shelter - gives satisfaction and meaning to the tirp to Nepal beyond expectations..

Web Site Volunteers [+]

Without the work on our first web site done by Saskia van Dantzig of the Netherlands there would be no web site. Rev. Brian Kopke of Canada has built on the work of Saskia to produce the site you now see.  These visionaries have developed our presence on the internet.  Read about them and their visions on their page of apprciation.

If you have been a volunteer for WFN before this appreciaiton page was developed (September 2008) and would like to be listed here, send a digital photo from your time working with WFN, a short bio, and a description of your work with WFN and how it affected you. Staff will verify your participation in WFN programs as a volunteer and you will be added to this appreciation page!
