Social justice
The Women's Foundation (WFN) is a grass-roots organization working within communities on urgent problems faced by women, especially violence and rural poverty issues. WFNprovides complementary efforts and initiatives alongside efforts of other non-governmental organizations and the government.
The aim of WF is to relieve the isolation, distress, poverty and victimization experienced by women and children (especially the rural poor, regardless of their caste, religion or race) and to reintroduce them into mainstream society promoting community cohesion. WF is dedicated to making a difference for women and children to improve their quality of life by providing culturally appropriate advice and guidance, legal support, medical services, education, training and employment opportunities.
